Since obtaining McLANE in 1993, staff, Naval Reservists, and volunteers have worked extremely hard to refurbish her. Cosmetically, she is about 80 percent complete. McLANE has come a long way since first coming to Muskegon.

The next big project for McLANE is restoring the diesel engines. The main goal is to have them up and running. To complete this project, it is going to take lots of hard work, time, and money. If you are interested in helping with the restoration of McLANE, please see our Volunteers page.
